Clik here to view.There isn’t anyone who likes having those nasty dandruff flakes on their clothes. As many times as you have used those dandruff shampoos they don’t seem to be helping. What would be another way to get rid of the dandruff?
Home Remedies for Dandruff
One way is to try and find a shampoo which has zinc pyrithione, this reduces the fungus; ketoconazole, this will fight the fungus; selenium sulfide, this will limit the cell turnover and it could decrease the amount of fungus; and salicylic acid, this will help loosen those flakes. You could take two common aspirin and crush them. Once you have done that then add them to the amount of shampoo you would use on your hair. You will want to keep this mixture in your hair for approximately two minutes. Rinse your hair well and then shampoo regularly.
You could try to find a shampoo with tea tree oil in it. This will help improve your dandruff. You could also just add some to your shampoo when you wash your hair. Another remedy to try is baking soda. You would want your hair wet first. Take some baking soda and rub it into your hair. You won’t want to use any shampoo and just rinse your hair. This will help your hair get rid of the flakes. Your hair will feel softer and your hair will start producing its own oil.
More Remedies
Another one to try is apple cider vinegar. For this you will need a squirt bottle. Start by adding ¼ cup apple cider vinegar into the squirt bottle and then add ¼ cup water. You will spritz the contents on your scalp. Immediately wrap you head in a towel. You will want to leave the towel on for 15 minutes up to an hour. You can wash your hair normally after. After you have shampooed your hair normally you could rinse it with a mouthwash that has an alcohol base. This will help prevent dandruff.
You could try a shampoo which contains olive oil. You could also take ten drops of olive oil and massage it into your scalp. Once you have done that you will want to put on a shower cap and wear it overnight. You would wash your hair normally in the morning.
These are just a few different remedies for helping with dandruff. There are numerous other remedies, as well. You don’t have to spend all your money on dandruff shampoos that may not work for you.
